Ban the player for 1 year.
The team will forfeit all the games that the player was part of. Example if a player X plays 2 games for team ABC and is then discovered to be a league player then both the games will be awarded to the opposition teams.

Captain banned for 2 matches.
If any team does not comply with any of the rules or penalties then they could be removed from the tournament without refunds.
We urge the community to come forward and report any players that they know are playing leagues, if they can give the team name that the player is playing for in the leagues then it would make it a lot easier to enforce penalties on the player and team.
Why the change?
sometimes players are lying about their HCA status to their own teams also and removing a team right away will affect the tournament and other teams, hence it will be done only in extreme cases. It is still the captain's responsibility to check and ensure that all the players in his team meet the eligibility criteria.
